HOLIDAYS AT ALBUGUE
The vacation paradise Albugue is located on a south-facing slope with breathtaking views. Hikers and lovers of nature and tranquility have been enjoying this romantic, medieval homestead for already 40 years.
Children also indulge themselves during a stay at Albugue. With four holiday homes and a nature campsite, there are plenty of friends to play safely with on the grounds, in the forest and on the playground. There are weekly workshops and in between they like to marvel at chickens, sheep and cats.
Swimming is possible nearby at various beaches on the river Tarn. Numerous other trips and hiking routes can be found in our information folders. A weekly music evening brings the guests together in the colorful courtyard.

WHAT WE OFFER

ACTIVITIES ON ALBUGUE
On Thursday evening we offer an organic farm meal accompanied by live music in the courtyard.
Workshops are held every week for the children.
There is a little play yard (swings, slide, trampoline), a playhouse and a sandbox.
In the evening, the children can give the sheep the leftover bread.

ACTIVITIES
Between the Auvergne and the Pyrenees lies the department of Aveyron: rolling hills covered with deciduous forests and meadows. Tourism is small-scale, personal and friendly. One can taste the authentic France.
Albugue is located in the nature park Les Grandes Causses, a peaceful hiking area with natural swimming waters.
In the surroundings, there are the beautiful medieval villages with their summer festivals and (evening) markets. For excursions, we are happy to give you many ideas.

ABOUT US
In 1981, Yvonne and Michel left their busy city lives for farm life on Albugue. Since then, they have given shape and substance to this place to create their paradise.
Jule and Jean-Marie (their son) came to live there in 2017 and had two children: Lila (7) and Marilène (5).
Together we now take care of the campsite, the farm and the communal vegetable garden...
