Hiking

Albugue is located in the middle of the Des Grandes Causses Natural Park, making it an excellent place for walking. The well-maintained paths lead through woods and meadows and along the River Tarn. You will encounter few people along the way, but more nature and spectacular views.

There are ten walking maps with descriptions available, which start from Albugue. There are short walks, some of which are also very suitable for children. For the experienced walker there are also day trips from here and from all villages in the area ranging from 6 to 18km.

Recently, circular walks in the neighborhood have been marked with yellow signs by several local councils. A new Grande Randonnée has also been laid out (GR736, Sentier des Gorges et Vallée du Tarn), which runs through the entire Tarn valley.
